Community Discussion is Moving to Discord
Dear TypeDB Community Members,
Community Discussion is moving to Discord! You can join (or continue using) it here:
When the TypeDB Discussion Forum was set up, it served as a place that users could ask questions on the public facing internet, such that other users’ responses would be indexed by search engines and available to anyone searching for answers to TypeDB questions in their browser. However, we’ve found that live chat better serves the user actually asking the question - it’s an immediate, highly collaborative environment for conversation and tech support.
To better serve you - our wonderful community - we will now be consolidating all community discussions on our existing Discord server. Many of you are already active there, and we’ve recently integrated it with Answer Overflow - meaning that TypeDB’s public Q&A is now accessible by search engines and AI agents / LLMs! We anticipate this will greatly help TypeDB users find answers to their problems quickly - via search engines or by asking AI.
forum.typedb.com
will remain available in a read-only state until at least Nov 10th, 2025. Until that date, you will still be able to browse existing discussions, but no new topics or replies will be created. If there is any content you want to download, we urge you to do so before Nov 10th.
See you on Discord! If you’re not already there, we look forward to connecting with you!
Kind regards,
Alex from TypeDB
